How is my bill calculated?

Water bills are calculated by the amount of water used in a two month period. During Fall, Winter, and Spring, residents are allowed up to 1,000 cubic feet of water. During the Summer months (May, June, July, and August), residents are allowed 1,500 cubic feet of water. Usage over these allowed amounts will incur an overage fee of $0.03 per cubic foot.

Additionally, there is an annual 3% increase of the base water rate every January 1st. This increase is reflected on the March water bill each year (the March bill covers January and February).

Please note that water bills include water usage for the previous two months. For example, bills mailed out on January 10th cover water usage for the months of November and December.
